| From the beginning, Woobie's Bar has been a supporter of local musicians & bands. The viking first appeared soon after opening, but we can't remember why. From the start, the Viking booked local bands and coordinated sound, stage, and lighting. We have a team of booking & promotions people now, but the viking (pictured above) will show up on occasion. And if the music is really good, you might just find him dancing on the bar, knocking over drinks, serving his signature drink, and annoying bar staff. | MORSEVILLE BRIDGE |
| I remember the first time that Morseville Bridge played at Woobies. They were setting up, and I wasn't sure what we were in for because the place was looking like a garage sale. But I was plesantly surprised. Not only do they have an outstanding sound, with great original music, but the light show that goes along with the music is amazing. All they need is the right break and their music will be a household name. Seriously, I can't say enough good things. |
